I have spent 25 years managing media. I spent considerable time creating new revenue streams, developing new audiences, crafting new ventures, creating new events, and managing many good people through challenging times. I have found some unbelievable success over the years, and I can't wait to share what I have learned to help others find their way forward.
Navigating today’s digital media, managing a changing workforce landscape, and working through all the difficult operational efficiencies needed to succeed in today's business world is frustrating. One of the most challenging things to do in business is to manage short-term success with long-term planning. How can you build for the future while staying afloat next month? I have spent years working in this environment. Creating quick, innovative revenue streams, managing complex short-term expense challenges, and getting the right people on staff to ensure long-term success.
Three things drive success in any business: one, your people. You are only as good as the talent on your team. Surround yourself with talented and genuinely good people; the rest will work itself out. Two, focus on your customers. Today’s news consumers have unlimited access to information and know what they need. Staying connected to them, asking what they want and need, and then spend all your time making it happen easily will lead to a successful partnership. Three, you need to stay innovative. I don’t care what business you are in; doing new and innovative things is essential to any successful business. Please take what you do best and find new ways to capitalize on it. This goes for creating new revenue opportunities, finding some new and innovative ways to save on expenses, or finding a new audience you can capture.
I look forward to learning about your business and finding you a path to success.
